We are getting close to retiring. This property has been a family cottage for many years and is only just now becoming a busy rental property. We are ready to move forward and are selling this property. The property was renovated in 2018 with brand new furnaces and air-conditioning and water heater. Water for the building comes from a well during the winter months and the lake during the summer months there is an easy switchover system installed. The Camp www.thecamp.ca is very popular for large groups, retreats, family reunions, large families and corporate events. By using this property as a cottage through the winter months and only renting the cottage from May to October we maintain a "holiday rental' status in Canada which means we avoid needing licensing. With our amazing management team in the Gravenhurst area we have no concerns or issues that aren't dealt with quickly and professionally. It's very easy to run this operation and very worth the 20% commission. We have an excellent landscaper and cleaning staff in place as well. Last year the Camp was almost completely booked for the season and this year July is already booked and August is close. The other months are booking up as well, weekends only. We charge $8,500 CAD weekly for July and August. These two months are only available for week long rentals. May/June and Sept/October are rented either weekly or weekends at 900 - 1,200 CAD per night.
